The customer required a full bereavement clearance of a property in Glen Parva, Leicester. This included removing all furniture, beds, sofas, appliances and even a stair lift. The job needed to be completed respectfully, with careful sorting of waste streams to reduce disposal costs and ensure as much as possible was recycled or donated.

What We Did

Our 3-man team completed the full property clearance using three van loads. We cleared the entire house, including all furniture, sofas, beds, appliances and a fitted stair lift.
On-site, we sorted everything into the correct waste categories to keep the disposal costs as low as possible. This included separating general waste, wood, cardboard, POPs, metal, WEEE items and charity donations.
All items were removed safely and efficiently, and the property was left clear and tidy for the customer’s next steps.

What We Did

The main challenge was limited parking near the property, which required a long walk to the van for every load. This added time and distance to the job, especially with larger items such as furniture and appliances. The stair lift removal also required extra care and planning.
