Time-based booking (multi-trip available)
If your move takes longer or needs more than one trip, we simply charge the same hourly rate for the additional time.
Travel

Multi-trip is available when needed — it’s charged by time at the same hourly rate.
Payment
Payment is due on completion (bank transfer or cash).
If a booking deposit is required to secure your slot, we’ll confirm this upfront and it will be deducted from the final balance.

Basic service
Man & Van is a simple loading and transport service. Items should be packed and ready unless you’ve pre-booked wrapping or disassembly/assembly as an extra.
Minimum booking
2 hours minimum (from £120 for 1 man + van).
Local fuel/travel
No call-out charge within 10 miles of LE9. Beyond this, a travel fee may apply and is always confirmed upfront.
Weekend Surcharge
Simple hourly rates with a 2-hour minimum. Extra time (and additional trips if needed) are charged at the same hourly rate.
Access & Crew Requirements
Certain locations or access conditions (city centre restrictions, student accommodation, permit zones, stair-only access, limited parking) may require a 2-man team for safety and legal parking reasons. If a 2-man team is required, we’ll confirm this before your booking.

How Our Man & Van Process Works
Moving house can feel overwhelming, but our step-by-step process makes it simple and stress-free:
Book online or call
Choose your date and preferred time. Tell us what you’re moving, your access/parking situation, and whether you need any extras (wrapping/protection, disassembly/assembly, or extra stops).
We arrive and load
Your driver and mover(s) arrive with the van ready to load. Man & Van is designed for quick, efficient loading — wrapping and dismantling are available only if pre-booked.
Secure transit
Items are loaded and secured for transport. Straps and blankets are included as standard to help protect items in the van. (Fragile wrapping and specialist protection can be added if requested.)
Unload and placement
We unload at your destination and place items in the rooms you direct (subject to safe access).
Completion and payment
Payment is due immediately after unloading is completed — bank transfer or cash accepted.
