Brief
On 30th October 2025, we completed a flat move from a 7th-floor apartment to a 5th-floor apartment in Leicester. The client required careful handling of fragile items and requested a full end-of-tenancy clean once the flat was emptied.
What We Did
What We Did
We sent a 3-man team with one Luton van and completed two trips, with the second trip dedicated to transporting fragile items safely. Shoulder dollies were used to move the wardrobes into the lift without needing to dismantle them, and the bed was fully disassembled at the old property and reassembled at the new flat. The team managed long carries at both the pickup and drop-off addresses and carried out a full end-of-tenancy clean once everything had been moved out. The total time on site was from 9:30am to 6:00pm (8.5 hours).
Challenges & Solutions
What We Did
There were long carry routes at both buildings, which added to the handling time. We also had to manage high-floor access and time the use of the lift efficiently to keep everything moving. On top of that, extra care was taken to ensure all fragile items were transported securely on the second trip.

What We Did
Move successfully completed on 30th October 2025, within the planned time. All furniture delivered safely, bed rebuilt, and the property left clean.
