The customer needed help assembling two large IKEA PAX wardrobes and an extendable shelving unit in an upstairs room. Before starting the assembly, the team needed to clear space by safely moving items out of the room and carry all flat pack boxes and packaging upstairs.

A 2-man team attended the Coalville property and moved all packaging, flat pack boxes and parts upstairs into the correct room.
Before starting the assembly, we reorganised the room and moved items out of the way to make space for the large PAX frames.
We then built two IKEA PAX wardrobes, including the framework, internal fittings and doors, ensuring everything was aligned, secure and operating smoothly. We also assembled the IKEA extendable shelving unit and positioned it where the customer wanted it.
Packaging was stacked neatly ready for disposal.
Challenges & Solutions
What We Did
The main challenge was creating enough working space in the room by moving existing furniture out of the way. Carrying the large, heavy PAX boxes upstairs and manoeuvring them in a tight space required careful handling.
Outcome
What We Did
All furniture was fully assembled, positioned correctly and ready for use. The customer was pleased to have the wardrobes and shelving built professionally and within the 2h 30m timeframe.
