What the Job Involved
The customer needed their highly valued side unit moved from a second-floor flat to a local Leicester storage unit. Due to its sentimental value and the tight staircase access, the job required careful handling and precise teamwork to prevent damage.
How We Handled the Job
We sent a 2-man team to carry out this delivery. The item was located on the second floor, so the team carefully planned the route down a very tight staircase. Using correct lifting techniques, slow controlled movements and protective handling, the unit was manoeuvred safely to the ground floor.
Once at the van, we fully strapped, wrapped and secured the side unit to prevent movement during transport. The item was then delivered to The Store Room Leicester and placed into the customer’s storage unit exactly as requested.
