What the Job Involved
The customer required assistance moving two extremely heavy organs from their property in Kirby Muxloe to a secure storage unit in Rugby. Due to their size and weight, the move required trained staff and specialist manual-handling equipment.
How We Handled the Job
We sent a 3-man team equipped with a piano dolly and shoulder dollies to move the two organs, weighing 165kg and 185kg. The team carefully manoeuvred each organ out of the property, safely negotiated access points, and positioned them correctly for loading.
Once in the van, both organs were fully secured and strapped to prevent movement during the journey to Rugby. On arrival, we unloaded them using the same controlled and safe handling techniques and placed them in the customer’s storage unit exactly as requested.
