With no key wait at the delivery address, multiple trips in a single Luton van were possible. Items included heavy and delicate pieces requiring specialised handling.

What We Did
We used a 3-man team and one Luton van to complete three trips from The Store Room Leicester to the customer’s new property in Clarendon Park.
The move involved transporting several large and heavy items such as antique dressers, wardrobes, beds and a piano. To manage this safely, we used a piano dolly for the piano and shoulder dollies for heavier or awkward items, which helped with the long carry at the storage facility.
We worked efficiently to ensure all loading was completed before the storage unit closed, finishing the full move by 6:30pm.
Challenges & Solutions
What We Did
The biggest challenge was the time pressure due to the storage unit’s closing time. Several items were difficult to handle — particularly the piano and antique furniture — requiring specialist equipment and careful moving. Long carries and navigating tight spaces at the storage facility also added to the difficulty.

What We Did
We completed all trips in time and successfully delivered every item to the new home in Clarendon Park. All heavy, fragile and antique pieces were transported safely. The customer was happy with how efficiently the move was managed, especially given the volume and weight of the items.
